Nude Scenes Make Me Work Out

Anna Paquin has said that having to shoot nude scenes for True Blood helps motivate her to stay fit. The actress, whose character Sookie Stackhouse is well known for her tight T-shirts and hotpants, revealed that knowing that she will be filming in skimpy outfits ensures that she rarely misses a workout.

"If you're going to be spending literally every single day of your working life wearing clothes that barely cover your body, you're gonna be extra-diligent," Paquin admitted to Health magazine. "There's just a little extra motivation of, 'Hmmm, teeny white shorts and a bikini top? I think I will go to pilates this morning'."


While freely admitting to enjoying exercise, Paquin also said that she needs to learn to relax more. "I'm very hard on myself," she added. "Sometimes it's like, walk away from the elliptical machine. Go sit outside. Do something relaxing." Read more on this article...

Sex Scenes Hard

Alexander Skarsgård has admitted that his sex scenes with co-star Anna Paquin on True Blood were uncomfortable to film. The actor, who plays vampire sheriff Eric Northman on the HBO series, said that it was challenging for both of them to film last season's dream sex sequences because of their close friendship.

"It's clear to Steve [Moyer] and to everybody else what the deal is, which is that Anna is like a sister to me," Skarsgård told GQ when asked about their characters' budding romance. "Those love scenes take quite a bit of acting, actually," he explained. "A lot of acting."


Skarsgård's co-star Paquin married fellow True Blood star Moyer in August last year, while Skarsgård has long been rumoured to be dating his Straw Dogs co-star Kate Bosworth.
